Your Way Contractors did a beautiful job on our kitchen - which was a complete gut job. Ryan is a talented finish carpenter who did an amazing, excellent installation of our custom cabinets. He's a great problem solver who tackles any issues with skill and creativity. What we found especially helpful: they were able to set up a temporary sink and cooktop so we could continue to cook during the reno. This is a family business. They are extremely neat, minimizing dust by venting outside, using plastic sheets on the doorways, and cleaning the work site at the finish every day. We have used many contractors over the years in our 100-year-old house, Your Way Contractors is by far the neatest contractor we've ever used. Also, they have a lot of experience with older houses to handle any problems and keep the aesthetics. Also, importantly, it was a pleasure to have Ryan at our house - he's polite, pleasant, and neat, in addition to his carpentry skills. We highly recommend.

 We had a new bathroom put in on our first floor. Also, had hardwood floors put in and pantry refinishing. Gene did an amazing job!!! He remained on budge, was professional, timely and dependable. He was willing to teach us how to do some of the demo to save cost. He made the space look like the bathroom always existed in the location. Gene also added crown molding to make the whole project come together. Overall, Gene did a wonderful job! I would definitely recommend him and have gotten tons of compliments on the addition.

Gene is hands down the best contractor I have ever worked with. I hired him to redo my main bathroom. With only one shower in the house, Gene went out of his way to ensure the project caused as little disruption as possible. He did the demo while I was on vacation, and by the time I got back there was a temporary, working shower for me to use. 
Communication was outstanding from start to finish. After an initial appointment at my home, he returned a proposal to me in less than 12 hours. He scoped the work properly and provided a fair estimate. Based upon his responsiveness and the fabulous experience that my neighbor had recently had with Your Way, I decided to hire them. I never regretted this decision.
Gene, his son, Ryan, and all of his sub-contractors (plumber, electrician) are polite, patient, and super punctual. They were a pleasure to work with. And the work completed was done with the utmost care and precision. Gene took the time to discuss all points of the project with me, and patiently answered all of my questions. To top it all off, he left the house cleaner than he found it each day! The project site, as well as my garage, were kept neat as a pin and never got in my way. 
The project was enjoyable and completed in a timely fashion. The end product is terrific thanks to Gene and his crew. I would not hesitate to use them again for any remodeling project and I cannot speak highly enough of Your Way.

We selected Your Way contractors after having multiple contractors review our basement for remodeling. It was a large job and we wanted to go with someone that would collaborate with us to make the most of the space. We knew the job would take several months and we have small children and pets so we wanted to make sure the folks in our home respected our needs.
We were thoroughly impressed with Gene from the initial contact through the end of the job. He took the time to understand our goals for the space even though we didn't have many specific ideas. He was non-pressuring through the pre-sales process and showed us pictures, answered our questions and gave us ideas. Once we decided to move forward with the project, Gene generated a computer drawing so we could envision the layout. He was also very knowledgeable about the permitting process in our area which saved us a lot of back-and-forth with the township. His crew was punctual, worked cleanly and always provided me with updates or let me know if they had questions. 
Gene prides himself on his communications and was always available when I needed him. He routinely returned phone calls/texts/emails within hours. When we had some problems, Gene was there personally to fix them and always made sure we felt good about how it was fixed. He went above and beyond in several instances to help me secure materials and to answer some emergency calls at off hours (of which, none were related to any work he was doing but happily helped me out). Throughout the entire project, Gene's focus was on making sure that we were thrilled with the results.  In the end, we are thrilled with how the basement came out and we've already recommended Your Way Contractors to our friends. When the time comes to do more work to our home, Gene will be our first call.

We wanted to remodel our basement. It was almost bare bones, with the exception of a small existing toilet room. Gene provided  us with an estimate and a plan for the basement remodel, even a 3D version of his plan. He submitted and handled all town  inspections for the permits. He completed the renovation in our basement which included adding a bathroom, a laundry room,  large closets, a wet bar, utility closet, and furnace room. He also had a plumber come in to install all the bathroom fixtures and put in the new sewer lines as needed. Also to move existing gas and plumbing lines as necessary to create a clean ceiling in our  low ceiling basement. An electrician came and rewired existing wires and installed lighting and outlets according to code. They insulated and dry walled all rooms, added trim and doors. From the first phone call to Your Way Contractors to the end of the job, Gene was very responsive. We had a few other quotes  from other contractors for our project, but when Gene came to meet with us about our project, he brought along his Macbook  with pictures from his other projects. At that point, I could see the work that he had done in the past, and was excited for our project to begin. I felt by looking at those pictures and meeting with him he understood, and had experience with some of the issues we would face as we moved along in the project. He worked along his crew daily. Completed the work in a timely manner.  They promised no dumpster in the driveway for the length of the project, and followed through. Each day they vacuumed up . Even during the beginning of the project, it was an "organized mess". Gene was very respectful of our house, and addressed any  and all questions during the process. They worked hard each day, and completed the project within the expected time frame. We are happy with the final outcome of the project. He was very organized, professional, and easy to work with. A few of the decisions we made were an additional amount over the quoted price, but I felt his prices were fair, and the contract  was clear on what his quoted price covered. I would definitely call him again for any future projects.

AFTER MY  GIRLFRIEND CAROL AND I PURCHASED OUR HOUSE IN JANUARY WE GOT A CRASH COURSE IN HOME RENOVATIONS. DESPITE ALL THE RENOVATION “HORROR STORIES” THAT MANY FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS & FAMILY FELT COMPELLED TO RELAY TO US, WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HIRED VERY HONEST, COMPETENT AND PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE TO WORK IN OUR HOUSE. WELL, THAT STREAK CONTINUED WHEN WE HAD YOUR BUSINESS DO OUR KITCHEN RENOVATIONS (EXCEPT THAT 2 WEEKS IS A REAL LONGGGG TIME).  WE FOUND THAT NOT ONLY WERE YOUR WAY CONTRACTORS PERSONNEL ALWAYS HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL BUT SO WERE ALL SUB-CONTRACTORS ON OUR KITCHEN RENOVATION JOB.  NOT A BAD WORD CAN BE SAID ON ANYONE.  DESPITE THE DOG SOMETIMES LOOKING AT GENE AS IF HE WERE A LARGE WALKING HAM SANDWICH, I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK-YOU FOR DOING AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB ON OUR KITCHEN. After a pipe burst in our home in January, we hired Gene and his crew to repair the damage in our garage, second floor bathroom and to the overhang on our outside deck. From the first time we contacted Gene for an estimate, he was prompt to respond to all inquiries. He and his crew were consistently punctual throughout the duration of their work, arriving each morning by 7:30AM. Their work was impeccable, and their clean-up job at the end of each day was phenomenal - so much so that you would not know they had been working all day. We hired Your Way Contractors for a second time to complete a remodeling project in our home. We wanted to knock down a wall between our kitchen and family room for a seamless room to room transition and open floor plan. Gene offered creative solutions and quickly began assessing the potential options. We brought in Gene's recommended engineer to draw up blue prints for submission to the town. As with the previous projects, Gene and his crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up after themselves very well. The hardwood floor in our family room was installed by the previous owners, but Gene was able to track down the company and drove into NYC to order the correct wood so as to match what was already in place. Gene accepts nothing less than perfection, and the remodel shows it.
